KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
All appointments require a deposit. All deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. If you cancel your appointment for any reason, your deposit will NOT be refunded.
Deposits are applied to the final price of your tattoo or piercing. Any remaining balance will be due the day of your appointment.
You have up to 48 hours before your appointment to reschedule. We allow 2 reschedules per appointment.
If you need to reschedule and do not immediately know when you could come back, we will hold your deposit for up to a year. After that, it will be forfeited to your artist.
- Decide you no longer want your tattoo or piercing.
- Cancel within 48 hours of your appointment.
- Arrive more than 15 minutes late without any communication.
- Change your idea or placement after booking an appointment.
- Show up under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Show up with a sunburn, scrapes, or cuts in the area of the tattoo. Communicate with your artist ahead of time to reschedule if this happens.
- Book an appointment for a minor without verifying your artist tattoos minors.
You must have a government issued photo ID to get a tattoo or piercing. This ca include a driver's license, state issued ID, or passport(no military ID's). You will be required to fill out a waiver before getting your tattoo or piercing. The information on the waiver is required by our states health department.
Some of our artists will tattoo minors. We only offer tattoos in limited areas for minors.
We will not tattoo minors in any areas where they will need to remove more clothing than is appropriate. We will also not do large visible tattoos on minors. These areas are anything that can't be covered by a t-shirt or long pants.
We require signatures from both parents. If one parent is deceased, you will need to bring the death certificate. If you have full legal custody to make decisions independently for your child, you will need to bring those court documents.
Each parent will have to bring a government issued photo ID and the minor will need a government issued photo ID. You must bring the ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE and all the names on the birth certificate must match the names on the ID's or you will need to bring court documents showing legal name changes.
- Stay well hydrated in the days/weeks before your appointment. This helps skin quality during your tattoo. Moisturizing your skin ahead of time will also help.
- Do not drink alcohol in the days leading up to your appointment. Heavy drinking can thin your blood for multiple days.
- Keep your skin covered from the sun. A sunburn needs at least 6 weeks of heal time before tattooing over that skin again.
We accept cash, cashapp, tap to pay, and all major credit cards. A 3.5% processing fee is added to all payment methods other than cash.
We have a variety of aftercare products available for purchase in the shop. Our most popular product is Recovery Dermshield. It is a "second skin" bandage. We offer multiple variations of Dermshield.
We also offer Recovery lotion and dial antibacterial soap, along with other salves, for traditional healing methods.
There are two primary methods of taking care of your tattoo-the Dermshield method and the traditional method.
Traditional Aftercare
1. Take bandage off in 1-2 hours.
2. Gently wash your tattoo using your finger tips. Use unscented antibacterial soap, like dial gold.
3. Pat dry with a clean cloth.
4. Do not re-bandage the tattoo.
5. Starting tomorrow, apply a thin layer of unscented lotion approximately 3 times per day for 2-4 weeks. Bullshark, Hustle Butter, and Lubriderm are a few examples. Do not use petroleum based products like Vaseline, a&d, or Neosporin.
6. Do not submerge, soak, scratch, or pick your tattoo.
7. Avoid direct sunlight and tanning. This can damage your tattoo even after the healing process is complete.
Dermshield Instructions (if applicable)
- Leave Dermshield protective bandage on for a total of 5-7 days. Most tattoos require the Dermshield to be changed in about 24 hours. This can be determined if there is a build up of fluid under the dermshield, called an ink sack.
- To change dermshield, peel off dermshield carefully. It is usually best to do so in the shower or over the sink to avoid getting the fluid on anything.
- Wash all blood, plasma, and ink off gently using antibacterial soap with your finger tips. Avoid glycerin based soaps.
- Let dry for 10 minutes. Do NOT apply any lotion in between applications. It will affect the adhesive.
- Reapply the second piece of Dermshield, by first removing the white paper from the adhesive. Once the dermshield has been applied, peel off the top layer of plastic, leaving just the think clear sheet of Dermshield. Do not stretch it as you are applying it to your skin.
- Once removed on the final day, apply lotion as necessary.
Consult with your artist or a qualified healthcare professional immediately, at the first sign of abnormal inflammation, swelling, or infection.
